Soccer league for boys and girls to have fun, and stay active
-Jersey, shorts, and socks provided
-Number of games is based on the total number of teams
-Playoffs and championship games for all divisions, except 6U Co-ed
Ages 5 to 16; age as of August 31, 2027
League Division:
-Junior Boys (age range 11 to 12)
Skills clinics and coach’s drafts will be held in September, practices also start in September; games begin October 17th and end December 19th
-Division-specific dates and times for skills clinics and coach’s drafts will be provided at time of registration
-Practice days, times, and locations to be determined by coaches, will be communicated after teams are formed, and are subject to change based on weather and availability
-Game days are subject to change based on enrollment count, weather, and field availability
-Games rescheduled due to weather will be determined by availability
$130 for Coconut Creek residents; $180 for non-residents
-Credit card payment only
-The following items must be provided to qualify as a Coconut Creek resident:
-State-issued driver’s license or valid passport as parent identification
-And one of the following as proof of Coconut Creek residency: valid voter’s registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill
-Bills cannot be more than two months older than the date of submission for proof of residency
Practices and games will be held at Sabal Pines Park, 5005 NW 39th Avenue
-Practice days, times, and locations will be determined by the coach
-Coaches will contact parents/guardians once teams are solidified and upon background clearance
Volunteer coaches needed

-Application and background screening with fingerprinting required
-Lack of volunteer coaches could affect the maximum capacity of divisions resulting either in registration of the affected divisions closing prematurely or redistribution of division ages
Youth Sports Coach’s Incentive Policy
-Discount valid for 1 head coach and 1 assistant coach; cannot be combined or stacked
-Discount is valid for only 1 child per team, per sport; coaching multiple children in different age divisions, within one sport, qualifies for additional discount
-Coach must attend 80% of games and practices
-Coach must maintain good sportsmanship solely based on the league coordinator: maintain positivity, refrain from degrading remarks, profanity or unsportsmanlike conduct, no yellow or red cards, and no infractions from referees or league coordinators
-Prior to the sport they are coaching, must attend coaches training and rules presentation held by Parks and Recreation staff
-If all requirements are met, discount of $50 for head coach and $25 for assistant coach will be applied at the end of the season
Registration Details:
-Registration ongoing through September 4th or until full per division
-Register online at CoconutCreek.gov/WebTrac or by walk-in at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, or at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
-You must have a WebTrac account prior to registering online
-Visit either walk-in location for assistance with setting up a WebTrac account
-Bring proof of residency, as noted above, and a copy of a birth certificate for each minor on the account for legal guardianship and age verification purposes
