2026 Girls Basketball League - 15U
Basketball league for girls to have fun, be competitive, and stay active
- 3 evaluation clinics as well as 10 regular season games, playoffs, and championship
- Jersey and shorts included
Girls ages 8 to 15; age as of August 31, 2027 (age during season is 7 to 15)
- Age Divisions:
- 15U: ages 13 to 15 (during league 12-15)
- Divisions may be adjusted depending on the number of registrations
League Dates:
- Evaluation clinics will be held on Saturdays, June 13th, 20th and 27th
- 15U at 11:00 AM
- Practices will start the week of July 6th
- Practice days and times will be communicated after teams are chosen
- No practice on August 17th, September 7th and 21st
Games will be held August 11th through October 3rd
- Depending on the division, games may be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
- No games on August 18th, September 5th and 12th
- Dates are subject to change depending on the amount of registrations
$130 for Coconut Creek residents; $180 for non-residents
- To qualify as a Coconut Creek resident, the following must be provided:
- State-issued driver’s license or valid passport for identification
- And one of the following as proof of Coconut Creek residency: valid voter’s registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill
Bills cannot be more than two months older than the date on which they are submitted as proof of residency
- Credit card payment only
Held at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
Volunteer coaches needed

- Application and background screening with fingerprinting required
- Lack of volunteer coaches could affect the maximum capacity of divisions resulting either in registration of the affected divisions closing prematurely or redistribution of division ages
Youth Sports Coach’s Incentive Policy
- Discount valid for one head coach and one assistant coach; cannot be combined or stacked
- Discount is valid for only one child per team, per sport; coaching multiple children in different age divisions within one sport qualifies for additional discount
- Coach must attend 80% of games and practices
- Coach must maintain good sportsmanship solely based on the league coordinator: maintain positivity, refrain from degrading remarks, profanity or unsportsmanlike conduct, no yellow or red cards, and no infractions from referees or league coordinators
- Prior to the sport they are coaching, must attend coaches training and rules presentation held by Parks & Recreation staff
- As long as all requirements are met, discount of $50 for head coach and $25 for assistant coach will be applied at the end of the season
Registration Details:
- Registration is ongoing through June 12th or until full
- Register online at CoconutCreek.gov/WebTrac or by walk-in at the Recreation Complex or at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
- You must have a WebTrac account prior to registering online
- Visit either walk-in location for assistance with setting up a WebTrac account
Bring proof of residency, as noted above, and a copy of a birth certificate for each minor on the account for legal guardianship and age verification purposes
